ABOUT ME

Working as a therapist for over twenty-five years and in private practice for fourteen years, I see individuals, couples and adolescents and their families.

My work gives me the special privilege of meeting with you as you go through changes in your life. I really enjoy being with you as you begin to see problems in a new way and to find new solutions for them..

I draw on many different approaches in my work, some old and some new, learned over the many years of my practice.

I see therapy as work that you and I do together. You are the best person to know whether therapy is working. I choose a way of working that is the right one for you and the issue you are dealing with. I will check regularly with you to be sure that our work is helping. Making you feel comfortable is essential to me.

My qualifications are:

Masters of Arts in Social Work from the University of British Columbia

Registered member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.

Some of my experience includes:

Therapist, teacher and researcher at The Clarke Institute of Psychiatry (CAMH), Mount Sinai Hospital and The Hospital for Sick Children
Therapist in community agencies in Toronto, helping children and adolescents who experienced abuse
Expert court witness in Ontario and in New South Wales, Australia
Therapist and coach for corporate and diplomatic staff and their families in Singapore
Published in the Journal of Obs/Gyn and Women’s Health Care
International Clinical Supervisor for FGI, a multinational Employee Assistance Program provider to companies that send employees overseas

I deal with many different kinds of personal issues. I won’t judge you. I will listen. I will be there for you. We can work together. I will help.
